What’s your pharmacist’s name?
If you thought about it, could you recall your pharmacist’s name? If not, you might not have an ideal relationship with your pharmacy.
I will always remember something my wife said to me when I first became a pharmacist. She mentioned how when she would walk up to the pharmacy counter, no one ever made eye contact with her. She would wait for minutes before someone looked up at her. And so, she would never ask her pharmacist a question. She would try to get in and out of the pharmacy as quickly as possible. She told me she was amazed at how people would stop and talk to me, and even knew me by name.
If you thought about it, could you recall your pharmacist’s name? If not, you might not have an ideal relationship with your pharmacy. Pharmacists have a wealth of medical knowledge. They are an easily accessible health resource to their patients.
Far too often, corporate pharmacies hinder staff’s ability to focus on the patient. The pharmacies are often understaffed or too busy answering questions about the price of milk. We do one thing – take care of your health.
I’ve made it my mission to change the way people interact with their pharmacist, and to be as friendly and approachable as possible, so when my patients have health questions, they know I care about them and I’m here to listen. We want our customers to feel comfortable asking their health questions and get answers they can understand – thus our slogan ‘Talk to Tim’.
The better you understand your own health, the more likely you are to stay healthy – and that’s why we’re here. We believe Brady’s Drug Store is the friendliest pharmacy in Essex County. We hope you’ll give us a try and experience what fast, friendly service really looks like.
